We classify products into three verification levels.

LEVEL 1 - Halal Certified

Products that have received halal certification from a recognized halal certification organization. These products have undergone formal halal auditing and certification according to the standards of the issuing organization.

LEVEL 2 - Ingredients & Process Verified

Some excellent Japanese products are not halal certified, yet they are manufactured using halal-friendly ingredients and production processes. For products in this category, we verify: all ingredients and additives, manufacturing process, cross-contamination risk. Products are selected only after careful review.

LEVEL 3 - Ingredients Verified

Some products contain ingredients that appear halal based on their ingredient list, but sufficient information about manufacturing processes or production lines is not available.

Because we cannot fully verify the manufacturing process, these products are not introduced or sold at HALAL-Ya. We believe transparency is more important than offering a wider product selection.
